October 2023
It's that time of the month again where I write to give you some ideas for content that you might wish to add to your website. As you know, keeping your website updated is important for providing your visitors with useful information and for the general health of the site.
Here are my suggestions for content topics that you might wish to consider when updating your website this month:
- October 4th is World Animal Day. This website explains all about the day and the events taking place.
- October 10th is Animal Road Accident Awareness Day and this website from Cats Matter outlines the problem and explains how we can help.
- Dog attacks appear to be back in the headlines at the moment. These websites are useful guides to the regulations surrounding so called dangerous dog breeds:
- Halloween is at the end of the month and this guide giving pet safety advice for the occasion is worth a read.
- The PDSA provide this autumn advice for pet owners.
- Don't forget to remove any temporary opening hours you may have added to your website for the last bank holiday.
- Add your latest practice newsletter.
- Let your clients know about any staff changes that have occurred this month.
- Equine The Horse of the Year Show is at the NEC Birmingham 4th - 8th October
- Farm Ewe dipping takes place in October - information can be found on the government advice sheet here.
As always, we would be happy to update your practice website for you. Simply email your content changes to hello@onlinepracticesolutions.com and we will get these actioned. Alternatively, you can use our content editor to make changes to your website at anytime.
