It's that time of the month again where I write to give you some ideas for content that you might wish to add to your website. As you know, keeping your website updated is important for providing your visitors with useful information and for the general health of the site.

Here are my suggestions for content topics that you might wish to consider when updating your website this month:

  • Firework night is on 5th November - the RSPCA and BVA both offer good advice for pet owners.
  • NOAH has launched its ‘Paws to Protect’ campaign to improve pet owner awareness of the importance of reading and following the packaging information provided with veterinary medicines. Find out more including a downloadable poster to promote the campaign in your clinic here.
  • Animal welfare advice for autumn can be found on the RSPCA website here.
  • Add your latest practice newsletter.
  • Let your clients know about any staff changes that have occurred this month.
  • Equine The RSPCA offer this winter advice for horse owners.
  • Equine British Racing’s Horse Welfare Board first ever thoroughbred census in Great Britain has only a couple of months left to run. Find out more on the BEVA website here.
  • Equine The London International Horse Show takes place from 13th to 18th December 2023 at ExCeL London.
  • Farm With winter approaching livestock farmers will be looking at housing livestock, advice can be found here.
  • Farm NADIS provide this advice for male calf castration before the first frosts arrive.
