It is that time of the month again where I write with proposed content for you to use in order to keep your website up to date.

Here are my suggestions for content topics that you might wish to consider when updating your website this month:

  • September is National Pet Health Insurance Month. If you already have content on your website regarding insurance, then this would be a good opportunity to highlight it.
  • 28th September is International Rabbit Day and a good opportunity to share some useful information on your website. The RSPCA provide some good information here.
  • Harvest mites are common around this time. See here for further information on how they can cause problems for dogs.
  • RSPCA Walk on the Wild Side takes place from 1st to 30th September. A walking challenge with a difference – one that helps every kind of animal. Find out more and register here.
  • Add your latest practice newsletter.
  • Let your clients know about any staff changes that have occurred this month.
  • Equine BEVA Congress takes place from 11th to 14th September. Find out more and book tickets here.
  • Equine The closing date for the National Equine Forum Cover Image Competition 2025 is at 12noon on Friday 17th September. Open to all budding equine photographers. More details can be found here.
  • Equine The following events take place this month:
  • Farm Cases of Bluetongue (BTV-3) have been identified in England – BVA urges vigilance following confirmation of positive BTV-3 cases. Read more here.
  • Farm In the farming calendar, this year’s lambs are still in the weaning phase and focus turns to the preparation for auctions of gimmers and ewes. You can find a list of local auctions here.
  • County Shows for 2024 an extensive list of what is on country wide can be found here.
